To get to Ameland, use the ferry service from Holwerd. The crossing from Holwerd to Ameland takes about 45 minutes. During holiday periods, there are several departures per day. View the boat times here. If you want to take your car on the island, reserve a spot in time by calling +31(0)519-54 61 11 or via the website. You can park your car on the mainland (for a fee) at the Holwerd car park.
You can park on the Holwerd mainland for a fee, or (if you have a ticket for a car on board the ferry) at the central car park near the apartment complex on the island.
There are charging stations at the park to charge your electric car.
From the train station in Leeuwarden, take bus 66 (towards Holwerd, operated by Arriva). Get off at the Veerdam bus stop. Take ferry service 1 (towards Nes Ameland). At the Veer Ameland stop, take bus 2 (towards Nes Reeweg, operated by Arriva). Get out at Strand Nes bus stop, which is a one-minute walk away from Landal Ameland State. Arrival and departure
Please report to reception upon arrival at the park. There you will receive the key to your accommodation and more information. Are you arriving outside reception opening hours? Please contact us in advance.
You can of course use the park facilities before this time. Or discover the surroundings of the park.
You are of course very welcome at the park facilities for the rest of the day.
We ask you to leave the accommodation broom clean, take away the rubbish, clear out the dishwasher and collect the bedding.
Good to know
You can use free Wi-Fi in all accommodation.
Pets are welcome on the park and in some of our accommodation. Check the accommodation features or select your pet(s) in the travel group to see which accommodation allows one or more pets. On the park you must keep your dog on a lead, unless indicated otherwise.
The park has a launderette with washing machines and dryers (for a fee)

No, it is currently not possible to book all Roompot parks via Landal.com. We currently offer a small selection of parks. All other parks can be booked via the official Roompot website.
It is possible that your stay, facilities and services are slightly different to what you are used to at Landal.
