Loonse and Drunense Dunes National Park

One of the largest areas of drifting sand in Western Europe, located in North Brabant. All those sand dunes make it look like a desert. Besides sand, there are woods and heathland, so there is plenty of varying scenery to wander through.

Nestled in the woods, the park is extra spacious, providing all the peace and quiet and room you could ask for, in addition to lots of activities. Accommodations range from a luxury villa and a special children's bungalow to a 22-person family villa with a whirlpool tub and steam cabin. The activities team makes sure the children have a blast. Of course they can also go to the pool or playground, or play hide-and-seek in the woods all day long. With an eatery and á la carte restaurants, Brabant's bonvivant culture is unmistakeable here. There is a lot to do in the immediate vicinity, such as shopping in Oosterhout or Breda, boating in Biesbosch or a trip to an amusement park. If you enjoy walking or cycling, the park offers easy access to the Vrachelse heathland, where you can enjoy the flora and fauna of this nature reserve.
